Founded
in 1997, PBM works with children, parents, professionals, and a
variety of organizations and institutions to help meet the behavioral
needs of our clients. Our goal is to work in partnership with our
clients – creating comfortable, functional, and workable solutions
to achieve success in meeting their behavioral goals.
Our
staff routinely works with children and adults with behavior disorders,
autism, developmental disabilities, pervasive developmental disabilities,
traumatic brain injuries and a variety of other populations. Though
PBM provides a wide range of general behavioral services, our core
abilities include:

Teaching parents and professionals how to replace
problem behavior.

Tailoring academic curriculum to maximize learning, increase academic
success and bridge skill deficits.

Coordinating home ABA
programs.

Teaching parents and professionals how to establish instruction
following with children.

Teaching parents and professionals how to teach daily living skills
and how to increase and maintain desirable behavior.

Collaborating in the development and implementation of individually
tailored behavior support plans.

Assisting in arranging the physical environment to maximize appropriate
behavior and minimize undesirable behavior.

Providing workshops for individuals, families, teams, and organizations
on behavioral approaches to building positive appropriate behavior
and reducing undesirable behavior.

Consulting, developing, and implementing communication-based interventions
– teaching verbal communication, basic sign language, PECS, and
functional communicative solutions.

Using data to drive our decision-making.

Providing home, community, and school services – in fact, we provide
services in any environment we are needed.

Providing services at any time of day or night, 24 hours
a day - we are there when our clients need us most. In fact, the
majority of our services are provided from 5:30am-8:00am and 3:00pm
and 12:00am.

Guidance on tailoring curriculum to maximize learning and ensure
functional and academic success.
PBM
has two special teams that provide the bulk of these services:

ICT: Providing
behavioral services specifically to families with persons who engage
in problem behavior.

Skill Building Consultants: Providing
skill-building services to persons with Autism and a various other
developmental disabilities.
